Matteo joined L&G in 2015. He has led L&G's digital infra investments since 2018. He has over 20yrs experience in alternatives and is a member of L&G's alternatives senior leadership team.

Matteo previously led various alternatives investments for L&G spanning Real Assets and Alternative Finance (e.g. CALA Homes, Pemberton private credit, venture capital etc). Matteo previously worked for 10 years at global PE firm Terra Firma, where he was an Investment Director working on asset backed investments including Telecoms, Media & Tech, Operational Real Estate & Infrastructure, and 4 years at Morgan Stanley.

Matteo sits on the Board of Kao and Coleman. A Cambridge Engineering graduate and CFA charter-holder. He is an Italian-English national & speaks various.
