Struan is the Chief Legal, Compliance and Risk Officer at LGPS Central, with responsibility for oversight of those functions. He has extensive experience in growing and managing regulated investment management businesses within the pensions sector, as well as in the private markets. Struan is currently the Chair of the Institute of Risk Management’s Scottish regional group and a member of the APL’s Investment-Sub Committee. He joined LGPS Central having spent 10 years with the Lothian Pension Fund developing its business and investment platform. Prior to that Struan spent 10 years in legal private practice as a corporate and financial services lawyer, latterly specialising in investment funds.
