Summer seminar

10-11 June 2021 | Virtual Event

Summer seminar

Where next for investment in real assets.

Welcome to the second of our quarterly LGC Investment Seminars taking place in 2021. This event will take place on our virtual platform, from lunchtime to lunchtime on 10-11 June.

Each quarterly seminar will focus on an investment theme and the theme for the June seminar is “Where next for investment in real assets”

The programme will explore the extent to which the Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on investment in infrastructure and property. We will debate how we can collaborate to invest in them and how to overcome challenges on measuring ESG within real assets. We will examine how the LGPS can invest in building the places of the future which are healthier, wealthier, greener and meet the needs of their communities.   We will discuss how the needs of the fund are best met and consider the opportunities and challenges of local and regional investment.

By attending the LGC Investment Seminar you will gain clarity on this critical area and what it means for your organisation.
